The Fenix BC26R is a rechargeable front bicycle light with a 100° beam and four steady brightness levels plus a flashing mode. It is a front light, not a red rear light or a complete bicycle-lighting setup. Check your route's equipment requirements and the mounting arrangement on your bike.
Brightness and runtime
- Low: 50 lumens; rated runtime 65 hours.
- Medium: 200 lumens; rated runtime 18 hours.
- High: 600 lumens; rated runtime 9.5 hours.
- Turbo: maximum 1,600 lumens; rated total runtime 3.5 hours, including reduced output.
- Flash: 600 lumens; no runtime listed in the manual's table.
These are Fenix laboratory ratings using an ARB-L21-5000 battery. Temperature, battery condition and use affect performance. Turbo steps down; the runtime is not a promise of sustained maximum brightness. The 65-hour figure applies only to Low.
Mount, power and package
Fenix Lighting lists the quick-release mount for 28–35 mm handlebars. Check your bar's shape, diameter and clear mounting space before purchase. USB-C charging of the included battery takes approximately four hours under the stated conditions; Fenix Lighting specifies a USB wall charger rated at least 2 A.
This BC26R listing includes the light, ARB-L21-5000 rechargeable battery, USB-C cable, quick-release bike mount, spare O-ring, manual and warranty card. A rear light and wall charger are not listed as included. Do not assume a separate promotional bundle applies.
Fenix Lighting specifically excludes ARB-L21-6000 and ARB-L21-6000B batteries. Follow the exact battery and charging instructions; do not substitute an arbitrary cell.
Use and care
Keep the charging-port cover properly closed, maintain the approved O-ring seal and follow the manual's storage instructions. Do not open the sealed head. Avoid shining the beam into eyes; the housing can become hot. IP68 is a test rating, not permission to charge wet equipment.
See the Fenix BC26R manual and current Fenix Lighting specifications for full instructions and compatibility limits.
