The Teufelberger KM Pro has been specifically designed for the rope access industry with its construction being rooted from the Teufelberger KMIII rope.
Ropes for Rope Access Industry need to have low elongation with high strength but without the ‘cable’ feel of solid polyester ropes. Teufelberger have overcome this by creating a blend of anti-rotational fibre paired with great efficiency. They have been able to produce a high functioning rope but at a lower cost to similar ropes.
The MBS is a 35kN (7,865 lbf) with an elongation of only 2.0%. The polyamide core keeps the rope round and supple, even after a lifetime of use. Meanwhile, the polyester sheath protects that core with a static, strong, chemical and UV resistant jacket. It’s the rope you’ve been waiting for.
