Alpenglow Gear Cable & Lantern Leash Guide

Stable Cable: choose reach and connector clearance

The Stable Cable is a USB-C-to-USB-C cable offered in 15 cm, 30 cm and 100 cm lengths. Both ends use right-angle connectors. Compare the distance between your device and power source, including any case or pouch that changes the routing.

The manufacturer lists up to 60 W charging capability and 480 Mbps data transfer. Actual charging depends on the charger, device and their supported charging profiles. A cable rating does not upgrade an incompatible charger or guarantee that a device will draw the maximum power.

Check that the angled connector clears the device case. This is a cable-only listing; a charger, power bank and device are separate equipment. The cable's jacket description is not a rating for safely using connected electronics in water.

Lantern Leash: check all the required pieces

The Alpenblow Lux Lantern Leash is a strap that holds the Lux reading lights against a compatible bottle so the bottle diffuses the light. The leash does not include the Alpenblow Lux, bottle or power source.

Alpenglow specifies M!GO, NOBO and Thru Bottles made from semi-translucent white HDPE or LDPE. It says the leash is too large for a Smartwater bottle and too small for a Nalgene. Do not stretch it onto a different bottle and assume its original fit will be preserved.

How should I choose between them?

These accessories solve separate equipment needs. Choose cable length around an existing charging setup; choose the leash only after confirming that you already have or will obtain the specified light and bottle. Buying both does not create a complete lighting system.

What does an availability alert do?

Where offered on the product page, an alert records interest in later availability. It is not a preorder or stock reservation. For the cable, select the length you want in the notification form so your request identifies the appropriate option.
