DSG Outerwear Women’s Clothing, Rainwear & Layers

Build layers around the conditions

Start with the layer next to your skin, add warmth as needed and choose an outer layer suited to the weather. D-TECH and merino base layers are different fabric options; check each piece’s composition and care instructions. A breathable layer for active walking and an insulated layer for a long stationary period serve different purposes.

• Lightweight and uninsulated: Bexley 3.0 pants and the matching pullover suit a lighter layering setup. Their water repellency should not be treated as a substitute for dedicated rainwear.
• Softshell and fleece-lined options: Ava 3.0 and Ella 3.0 offer different fabrics and linings. Compare the listed construction rather than assuming every camouflage jacket has the same insulation.
• Insulated systems: Addie jackets and convertible bib/pants provide another route for colder conditions. Kylie 5.0’s 3-in-1 jacket can be worn as a shell, liner or combined system.

Choose rainwear by construction

The Nova technical rain jacket and rain pant use a manufacturer-rated 10,000 mm waterproof membrane with a water-repellent exterior treatment. The jacket includes an adjustable hood and underarm ventilation. Waterproof membrane specifications and a DWR finish describe different features; a finish alone does not establish that another garment is waterproof.

Check measurements and leg length

Use the size guide attached to the particular garment, comparing chest, waist and hip measurements as applicable. DSG’s outerwear charts account for base layers, so avoid automatically adding a size without checking the chart. Fit varies by design, and a familiar size from casual clothing is only a starting point.

The Addie bib/pant combines removable suspenders with adjustable snap inseams. Check the adjustment range and the selected size before ordering. Boots have their own sizing considerations: compare available sizes and insulation versions, then allow for the socks you plan to wear.

Complete the clothing setup

Compare liner gloves, mittens, neck warmers and headwear by coverage and layering needs. The collection also includes casual Vintage apparel, vests and backpacks; those items do not inherit the weather ratings of a technical jacket. Likewise, a jacket or pant listing is not a complete matching outfit unless the package expressly says so.

Review current size availability and care labels before ordering. Explore more apparel and accessories, or return to the brand directory to compare other outdoor clothing ranges.
