Twisted Iron Hunting Carriers & Organizers

Pack Rat versus Tree Hugger

The Bottomland Pack Rat and Strata Pack Rat are carriers for separately sold equipment. The Tree Hugger is a small-gear organizer, offered in Bottomland and Strata. Buying one component does not establish that the other is included.

Decide whether you need a carrier, additional pocket organization or both. Pictured platforms, climbing sticks and other field equipment are separate unless a product's contents explicitly say otherwise.

Measure for Regular or XL

Pack Rat Regular is listed for platforms up to 16.5 inches wide; XL covers widths over 16.5 and up to 18.5 inches. Measure your exact platform. An XL designation on the platform itself does not automatically mean you need the XL carrier.

Tree Hugger Regular and Mini are separate organizer sizes. Compare their dimensions and pockets against the small equipment you carry. Do not confuse a Mini organizer choice with the Pack Rat's carrier-size choice.

Full Send system or accessories kit?

The Bottomland Full Send and Strata Full Send listings combine the selected Pack Rat with a Regular Tree Hugger and carrying accessories. Review the exact package before adding duplicates.

The separately listed Full Send Accessories Kit contains straps, the Saddle Savior hanger set and latch hooks. It excludes the Pack Rat and Tree Hugger bags. The similar name should not be mistaken for a complete bag system.

Straps and hanger fit

Climbing Stick Carry Straps are sold as a four-pack. The Saddle Savior hanger set has a specific bag-strap interface. Check attachment dimensions and the manufacturer's item-specific limits; carrying and organizing accessories are not fall-protection anchors.
