La Sportiva 2027 Footwear, Apparel & Packs Preview

Keep climbing shoes and running shoes separate

The 2027 Solution and Solution Comp are climbing shoes. Compare their heel, toe coverage, sensitivity and men’s or women’s construction for your climbing fit. These are the announced 2027 revisions; older model reviews do not establish every detail of the new shoes.

Talento and Talento Pro are mountain-running shoes, not members of the Solution climbing family. Compare Talento’s daily-training emphasis with the Pro’s performance-oriented construction, and review Prodigio Pro 2 as a separate model. Final fit and size choices need confirmation for the exact shoe.

The Trango Guide GTX is an alpine boot. Assess its intended use and equipment compatibility separately from trail-running or climbing-shoe requirements.

Choose carrying capacity and format

The Aeris 6 and Aeris 12 are close-fitting running vests with different capacities. Their announced packages include two 500ml soft flasks. The Aeris 2 belt provides a smaller carrying format; do not assume the vest’s included equipment also comes with the belt.

The Aeris 26 and Aeris 34 are roll-top backpacks. The Challenger 18 is a separate alpine pack. Compare the equipment you need to carry with each layout, not just its liter capacity. The Aeris Poles Quiver is an accessory for the vest system, not a package containing a vest and poles.

Build clothing around the layer’s purpose

The Ethereal jacket and overpants form the weather-shell comparison. The Havoc Primaloft Hoody serves an insulated-layer role, while the women’s Cryptic Hoody uses grid fleece. Review intended layering and final garment measurements before choosing a size.

For lighter clothing, compare the Endure Short, Surge Short and Forge or Surge tops. Their liners, pockets and fabric layouts differ; a shared season does not mean identical fit or function.

La Sportiva release questions

Does “2027” mean a confirmed Kodiak delivery date?

No. It identifies the announced collection or revision. Manufacturer release timing and Kodiak availability are separate, and our arrival dates remain unconfirmed.

How do product alerts work?

Open the product you want and select “Notify me when available.” The alert is not an order or reservation. Final sizes, colors and package details will need confirmation before purchase.
