Compare Mammut Haldigrat E2 airbag backpack previews at Kodiak Outfitters. The 22 M, 30 S/M and 30 M/L differ in carrying volume, back length and weight. Kodiak prices and arrival dates remain unconfirmed; these are informational previews, not preorder offers.
The two 30-liter versions offer the same stated capacity with different back lengths. S/M and M/L therefore should not be read as small and large cargo volumes. Back length is a pack measurement, not a wearer-height recommendation. Confirm fit using Mammut's guidance and a qualified fitter.
Mammut lists both backpack-only weight and weight with the airbag system. The 22 M is listed at 1,230 g for the backpack and 2,370 g with the system; the 30 S/M at 1,480 g and 2,620 g; and the 30 M/L at 1,510 g and 2,650 g. Compare like-for-like figures when planning a load, then account separately for the rest of your equipment.
These model pages specify an integrated Alpride E2 electronic airbag system. The 30-liter versions also list Mammut's Contact U Frame suspension. Check the exact model and included system rather than assuming that every Haldigrat backpack shares the same equipment or construction.
This is a product comparison, not avalanche training or setup guidance. Mammut classifies these packs as personal protective equipment and requires following the user manual. Consult qualified instruction and current manufacturer guidance for use, inspection, maintenance and transport; an airbag does not remove avalanche risk.
The three model previews are published for comparison. Kodiak stock, final price and arrival are not confirmed, even where a manufacturer page shows its own retail offer. Recheck the individual listing before making travel or purchase plans.
