Marlow Ropes, Gloves & Rope Bags

Gravitas and Static LSK

Gravitas 11 mm uses a polyester sheath over a nylon core. Static LSK 11 mm is a nylon low-stretch kernmantle rope. Marlow identifies these families for professional access and related applications; they are not interchangeable solely because both listings say 11 mm.

Compare the current manufacturer sheet for the exact rope and the approved rope requirements of each device in the system. Diameter is only one part of compatibility. Construction, elongation, condition, certification and the equipment manufacturer's instructions also matter.

Check the purchase unit

Gravitas options labeled Per Foot are priced per foot; reel lengths are listed separately in the variant selector. Compare the selected unit and total required length before checkout. Do not read a per-foot price as the price of a complete reel.

Other listings use named lengths or reel options. Check meters versus feet and any stated termination. If continuous length or a specific finished configuration is essential, confirm it before ordering rather than assuming all quantities are supplied the same way.

Specialist ropes and accessories

The collection also contains products labeled Fast Rope and Tactical Access. These have distinct constructions and intended applications. Their inclusion here does not establish suitability for recreational climbing or substitution into another rope system. Refer to the exact manufacturer's documentation and qualified equipment-selection guidance.

Marlow rope gloves and the rope backpack are separate accessories. Compare glove size and bag size against your requirements. Neither accessory listing establishes that rope or other equipment is included.

Before selecting equipment

• Identify the exact model and intended application.
• Check the current product-specific documentation and compatible device instructions.
• Distinguish breaking-strength figures from working-load limits; they are not equivalent.
• Confirm length, color, termination, quantity unit and package contents.
• Review inspection, care and retirement requirements with the responsible qualified person.

Marlow product questions

Is static rope a substitute for dynamic climbing rope?

No. Low-stretch and dynamic ropes serve different purposes. Select equipment according to the intended system and its manufacturer requirements.

Does a listed diameter guarantee device compatibility?

No. Check the exact rope model and every relevant manufacturer's requirements. A diameter match alone is insufficient.

Are all shown lengths in stock?

Availability varies by option. Use the selected variant's current status; collection inclusion does not guarantee inventory.
