Aclima LightWool 140 Hoodie w/Zip (2027) Release Guide
A closer look at what’s coming, what makes it different and what to know before you choose.
The revised Aclima LightWool 140 Hoodie w/Zip has an announced March 2027 retail window. Kodiak’s size selection, colors, price and arrival are unconfirmed.
Identify the 2027 revision
The preview describes an updated hood-and-collar design, two-way zipper, underarm gussets and thumbholes. Match the season and full model name before using measurements from an older LightWool 140 or 180 garment.
Sun-protection claims depend on color
The brand-submitted profile specifies UPF 40+ for Jet Black and UPF 50+ for Tarmac, with testing referenced to EN 13758. Do not apply those ratings to every possible color. Confirm the label on the final garment and use it as one part of appropriate sun protection.
Fabric weight and garment weight differ
The profile lists a finished weight of 210 g for men’s size Small. The number 140 in the product name is not the complete garment weight. Compare the same size and measurement type when assessing another listing.
What should I check for fit?
Review sleeve length, hood fit and the room needed for your chosen layers against the final size chart. A revised fit means an older version may not feel identical. The main fabric is described as merino wool; the zipper, thread and trims are separate components.
Kodiak availability
The current listing has no available inventory. A manufacturer launch month is not a Kodiak delivery commitment. An availability alert requests a notification without reserving stock or placing a preorder.
