Danner Wheat Ridge 18504 and 18505 Release Date and Model Guide

Danner lists Wheat Ridge 18504 and 18505 as new Spring 2027 styles. The public workbook does not specify a launch day or Kodiak arrival date. Kodiak pricing and size allocation remain unconfirmed.

What is confirmed?

Durable leather upper with an abrasion-resistant heel cap, mutilation-free hardware, cushioning EVA footbed, Danner Resurge low-density EVA midsole, nylon shank and TRAILGUARD ESS platform. Danner describes the Wheat Ridge rubber outsole as non-marking and oil- and slip-resistant.

18504 Brown/Tan plain toe

A 4.5-inch plain-toe work boot, listed at 34 oz. Danner lists ASTM F2892-24 EH SR performance. This model has no safety-toe cap listed.

18505 Brown/Red aluminum toe

A 4.5-inch aluminum-toe work boot, listed at 38 oz. Danner lists ASTM F2413-24 I/C EH SR performance for this exact style.

How do they differ from 18500 and 18501?

The Spring 2027 additions are 18504 Brown/Tan plain toe and 18505 Brown/Red aluminum toe. Existing 18500 and 18501 are Brown/Olive waterproof styles at 39 oz and 44 oz respectively. The new 18504 and 18505 rows do not list waterproof protection; do not transfer the older models’ Danner Dry claim to these new styles.

Both new styles use the DPDX last. Catalog sizing is D 7–14 and EE 8–14, with half sizes through 12. Neither new row lists insulation. These catalog ranges are not a confirmed Kodiak allocation.

What remains unknown?
