ORTLIEB Packman TIDURA Core Backpack (2027) Release Guide

ORTLIEB’s new Packman TIDURA Core backpack is announced for early 2027 in 23-liter and 35-liter versions. Kodiak’s price, final allocation and arrival remain unconfirmed.

New generation, different capacities

This is the TIDURA Core revision. It should not be confused with the older 25-liter Packman in PU-coated nylon. Older dimensions, weight and accessories do not automatically apply to either new capacity.

What does the preview establish?

The manufacturer showroom describes a modular, adjustable carrying system and German manufacture. It states an IP64 protection level, covering dust and splashing water; that is not a submersion rating. The nearby TIDURA Duffle Zip is a separate product with a different rating.

Choosing between 23 and 35 liters

Start with the space needed for your usual equipment, then check the final dimensions and fit range. Capacity alone cannot establish torso fit or whether a particular laptop, travel item or packed shelter fits. More volume does not necessarily mean a different harness size.

What still needs confirmation?

Final weight, dimensions, accessory compatibility and Kodiak colors need model-specific confirmation. “Modular” does not mean every optional accessory is included. Review the final package and closure instructions before comparing it with an older Packman.

Availability updates

Both capacity options currently have no available inventory at Kodiak. A European announcement or reference price does not confirm U.S. stock. An alert request is not a preorder, payment or inventory reservation.
