The Light Hiking Gear Bear Canister Holder is a carrying accessory that attaches a compatible bear canister to a backpack. The holder itself is not a food-storage canister.
For canisters with a maximum circumference of 28" (8.9" diameter).
Attaches to any backpack that has tabs or other places to affix the holder's clips and straps. Make certain before ordering that your pack has the tabs or other features to which the clips and straps can be attached.
Attachment allows a bear canister to be secured to the top of your hiking pack and a cam-lock buckle allows for the option of a quick release.
Two large clips and straps secure the canister by attaching to your pack's mesh tension straps, web loops, tabs, rings, or other clips.
