The Rambo R144 Rack Platform gives you a flat surface for strapping down equipment on a compatible rear rack. Its 20.5 × 18.75-inch platform is made from 6061 aluminum alloy. Choose this style when an open platform suits your cargo better than a basket with raised sides.

Check your rear rack before ordering
This is a platform attachment, not a replacement for the supporting rear rack. Confirm the mounting arrangement for your exact Rambo bike model and generation. Follow the bike and rear rack load limits; the platform's dimensions do not establish an additional weight allowance. Secure cargo so it cannot shift into the wheel or interfere with riding.
Rack platform or basket?
The flat R144 surface is useful for securing a bag or other equipment with suitable straps. For a smaller footprint with raised sides, compare the Rambo R143-S Small Basket, listed at 13.5 × 13.5 × 7.25 inches. Match the shape of the carrier to your gear and check mounting requirements for either option.
R144 questions
Does the R144 include a rear rack?
The R144 is the cargo platform. Rambo specifies that a rear rack is required for installation; confirm the correct supporting rack for your bike before ordering.
Is this a vehicle hitch-mounted bike carrier?
No. It is an accessory for carrying equipment on a bicycle's rear rack, rather than carrying a bicycle on a car or truck.
What is its load capacity?
The current Rambo product specifications do not state a separate R144 weight limit. Check the limits and installation instructions for your bike and supporting rack instead of estimating capacity from the platform size.
