Mouth-call model, frame and stretch

Model names such as Redhead Hybrid, Rasp Attack, Thunderkluk and Smoke Phase identify different designs. Compare the exact reed configuration and cut described on each listing. Two-reed and three-reed versions are separate choices, even where the names and artwork look similar.

The Redhead Hybrid offers different reed-stretch options. Low, medium and high describe the selected stretch, not a universal ranking of quality. Choose the specific option shown on the product page.

Youth-frame listings, including Rasp Attack Youth Frame, are distinct from standard-frame listings. Confirm the frame format rather than relying on the model name alone. Read the materials information; listed latex construction matters when choosing a mouth-contact product.

Single call or starter package?

The Redhead Hybrid Starter Package groups low-, medium- and high-stretch versions of that model. That differs from a series pack containing several named designs. Read the contents of each package before assuming that every three-pack compares the same feature.

Check whether a selected package uses a standard or youth frame. Accessories and storage cases are separate unless the package description includes them. A starter-package label does not mean that it contains every item pictured elsewhere in the range.

Box calls, pot calls and strikers

KLUK also offers friction-call formats. Compare box-call construction and pot-call surfaces such as slate, glass, crystal and aluminum. The Walnut/Aluminum pot-call listing names its Dymondwood striker; separate striker listings should not be confused with a complete call.

Conditioning stones, chalk and other care accessories have specific applications. Follow the selected call's care instructions instead of applying one treatment to every surface.

Storage and other call families

The Adventure Call Case is listed for up to four mouth calls and uses a quarter-turn lid. Compare it with the separately listed slip-on-lid case. Storage capacity does not establish that calls are included.

The broader Kodiak selection also includes deer, elk and locator-call products. Check the species and call type on the exact listing; a shared KLUK brand name does not make every model a turkey mouth call.

KLUK questions

Is every starter package a set of different models?

No. Some compare several stretches of one model. Other series packages group different designs.

Is a striker listing a complete pot call?

No. Confirm whether the listing is for a striker alone or a call-and-striker package.
